Perspicacity, I have to admit I am a bit of a novice when it comes to the sharemarket. I dont have a great understanding of what is going on behind the scenes. What strategy are you refering to when you say:
"Ramping the s p by buying strongly then waiting for the panic when the strong buying stops. What a brilliantly evil strategy!!!!"
...like are you saying there is a big buyer who is making the SP go up in the hope it comes down, so they can buy more at a lower price? If yes, why would they go to this trouble? i.e why wouldnt they just average their entry (accumulate)
