Mack67, where do you get your statistics on French birth rates? It wouldnt be the census where the French have never asked for the religion of their citizens. The fact is studies show that the gap between the children of immigrants and native Europeans is closing fast which is exactly the way immigration plays out in every other country. My Mum & Dad were the kids of immigrants in 6 and 5 child familes respectively. Yet they only had 3 themselves as did most of their siblings. Its the standard immigrant story.
