Queensland is booming. How much the state government is responsible for that is unknown just as nobody can say how much the federal government has contributed to the national boom.
I disagree with rabbits about roads as there are extensive and ongoing roadworks everywhere, and I think Qld has the best railway system operating in Australia also. Regards health there is room for improvement. Education just seems OK. Police numbers also seem OK but need to be organised better. Water is a problem but a long term one that no single government or premier can be held responsible for.
His government had some landslide electoral wins so he can not have been as unpopular as some claim and the weak coalition parties are showing no signs of the strength needed to win an election in the future.
