Yes Dave but the Federal government can’t direct them to go to Queensland or even stay in the country. So the argument regarding the number/shortage of doctors only has merit if the number being trained and doctors/medicinal personal per head of population is falling.
None to that relieves or changes the fact that Beattie, his Health minister/s and top managers in the QLD health have incompetent management skills along with Pattel. This pattern has been repeated more than once by Beattie. His skill lies in marketing or possibly his events and PR consult team have the skills.
The actually ability to manage and know what’s going on inside their own department seems to is lacking. They rush to one problem for a PR patch to another PR event promotion without never really knowing what’s doing on. Like I said the other day most State premiers have become PR autocrats getting towed around by their media team with the hope that State bureaucrats keep the wheels on.
There isn’t one State leader/manager amongst the lot of them for all their bluster.
