The key sentence is, he will follow and get guidance from the Federal ALP level, who are pro- uranium for export in the long term...... if that is not a pre-guidance to what he will and will not allow, I do not know what is!! That's great for SMM. It's not a matter of 'if', but 'when'. :)
I think this is the most Beattie has said for a long time... of course he is still cautious about preserving the Coal Industry in QLD, who wouldn't?! But this is an indication that he will try to get the BEST of Both worlds for QLD. Have a read again of the SMM presentations a few weeks back. SMM's reserves are literally a goldmine. This could see SMM share price replicate PDN in the longer term. Happy investing!
