...expect special "oil shows" releases...
Has GALP ever done that?? Nope. This is another reason why I feel more comfortable holding TPT. From Government approval onwards TPT will not release anything without GALP's approval.
And agree, it can happen with some other oil companies.
In my view is very good to do some research on a farminee as well and then to decide if play or not. I am in TPET mainly because of Trident and GALP - high risk, true.
So as shown in CAP Juby we have loads of oil but unconformity, bad porosity (Middle Jurassic), apparently no good seals. Final results should be confirmed in April by Genel and Cairn.
Whereas in Trident we have good porosity if not excellent and good seals if I trust Eve and more knowledgeable posters. I do.
Do not see why I should not throw some money into it.
On JM-1 well (Cairn&Genel) I have never seen them stating that have very good porosity, only about previous heavy oil discovery as a main reason to justify their drilling.
Still searching... have you?
What I do find is that Trident has no technical similarities (porosity, seals, permeability) to Cap Juby. Makes sense
