saber, I'll confess to not being a charting fan, so take this with a grain of salt. However, did you consider that the facts on the ground were what was driving the share price?
There was a regulatory issue which saw the share price fall... the regulatory issue was resolved, and (surprise) the price went back to where it was.
I don't mean to be a smart arse, but isn't that more likely what drove the share price improvement was the company fundamentals rather than the technical chart levels? Particularly given that the share price jumped on the day of the announcement.
I'm keen to learn.
