With all this negative talk, which isn't doing anybody any favours we should consider a little anecdote:
A qantas A380 last year with the new Rolls Royce Trent engine failed shortly after take-off. The pilot checking everything noticed that everything was failing. Instead of panicking, he stopped for a moment and asked the question, OK WHAT IS WORKING?
Most companies when they see their house on fire tend to start advertising at an increased rate with increased intensity.
I just hope that our MGT are thinking like this.... and hopefully soon enough, we're going to get some news. I just hope though they hold their nerve of pricing and not erode their gross margins as this would be futile.
Either that or I would like to see that they have put in some EMDG (Export Market Development Grant) applications or some R+D grant applications in to receive a few $$$ government.
We always think of sales - we never think of the potential gravy train that the government is to some industries. After all the government has thrown $3.2 billion into the ARENA fund - the Australian renewable energy agency. Surely they could flick $3 miilion our way, hoping that the MGT have actually got off their bottoms to submit a claim
