to set a global brand up like this is going to require well in excess of $2.25mil cash by the time product hits the market and it generates significant revenue.. (deep down i hope i am very wrong and Peros pulls a rabbit out of the hat)
WARNING napkin calculations below on extra cashburn coming up..
add $115k/qtr for Peros + add 5 new staff at approx $500K per year or $125K/qtr = extra cash burn of $330K (/qtr) or extra 1.3mil per year in wages required. So immediately half of our current cash on hand is going to be taken up within 12 months just on the above salary components..
+ existing staff costs 1.2mil
+ admin costs approx 1.3mil + apporx 1.2 mil R&D (this will go up significantly now with Reduit will be creating prototypes in numbers)...
so outgoings conservatively at 5.0 mil for up comging 12 months.
receipts from customers last 12 months 1.7mil... upcoming 12 months ?????? + R&D tax Incentive 1.2 mill maybe if lucky..
you can do the rest of the math... (its not pretty.. CR coming before end of the year or are the funds coming from elsewhere?)
if i have miscalculated anything i am happy to be corrected but from my point of view this is not making financial sense.. unless i am honestly missing something ?
if you have any idea on the realistic time frame of product development to revenue in the bank then you will also realise that 12 months from scratch is a tall order even for Peros and OBJ.. just something for everyone to think about.. i hope that in the background before Peros started that OBJ had already initiated the product developments and all that needs to be done is finalise fluffy packaging via founders opinions and we are away... likelihood of that ?
its not sustainable on what OBJ currently have in the bank or even what is forecast to come in... so it begs the question.. how is Wellfully getting the funding ?
BUT if it can be pulled off yes we will all be rich...sounds easier to just put your faith in Peros and not worry about the numbers doesn't it ?
