Excellent information. Not sure why I overlooked that part, probably because I get lazy and do not always print out reports and use the screen instead! ... but now with that extra info it is like switching a light on..... !! great stuff.
HGZ Scoping study 2010 shows processing 25,000t of copper metal from this HGZ.
That includes the DSO 5000t.
NOW.... this latest report shows that the HGZ contains 23,000t of copper metal.
So it does not quite make the Scoping target, but does not miss by much! and after all it is only a "guess" through modelling, so one could say it is close enough to being there. A good projection on their part.
Consequently my DSO profit projections are valid.
I presume the Direct Ship ore has gone up in proportion to near the target of 20,000t ore.
It is interesting doing analysis, and especially getting input from yourself also to focus in on the Truth of what is happening.
As the quantity of HGZ is now verified, it is a simple matter to re-input today's copper price (I think this was done by others a while ago) and see what mining the HGZ will bring into the coffers. At least it is not theoretical any more.
I am hoping the next big announcement will relate to a new Scoping Study, that sets out the broad mine plan as well. This in parallel with Mr. Jones being appointed to manage it.
All in time for Hong Kong???
we will see. cheers
PS They say Oxide and Fresh. (Ore) I am unfamiliar with the term Fresh !?
