Merchant should be a Top 3 Shareholder (at least)... behind only Directors William Garner and Dr Tillett, larger than other insiders Peter Molly and John Cullity.
Wonder what price target or fair value Merchant places on RAC to be such a large and confident buyer at 30c!?!? I am guessing they are aiming for multiple 10 baggers, like their PNV stake which was 30x /40x a performer and still going.
Good luck trying to sell that large holding before any RAC takeover or partnership announcements. If anything, Merchant will be an incremental buyer in the short-term.
I also like the fact no other directors were willing to transfer any of their shares to Merchant as part of this CR deal. Thanks, Mr Garner, for taking one for the team! But you are still the largest shareholder.
Merchant are now joined to the hip with the RAC founders/directors. I like that!
