GSK bought a company in the US last year. I think the premium was about 54% on the last traded sp. 154% of $2.34 is not what I have in mind for my BTA shares.
GSK don't have to actually buy us out. $20M settlement says they can do what want with Biota. Hopefully DS will have some input for a Lani deal.
What troubles me is that any smell of a take-over offer should sent the sp northwards. Someone with more experience (not hard in this case!), such as 202020 might like to indicate the strategies usually employed if BTA was a target. And what if it was not GSK?
