Wobbly - have enjoyed your commentary on this stock over the months/years - but stocks being manipulated/shorted is not uncommon, nor is it something that is going away any time soon.
Fact of the matter here is that, like the case for most junior oilers moving from exploration to production - the question for investors is.. are you prepared to gamble on the new wells generating sufficient revenue in the near term to cover CAPEX requirements? Companies can always produce expected flow reports, seismic charts and how the block of land next door to our tenement is performing, etc, etc..but the proof is always in the pudding..
If Prentice and the crew happen to strike lots of black gold and shale..therein substantially derisking the whole process and the company becomes self funded to a large degree, then no third party will be able to substantially cap the share price.
Until such time as that happens..and a viable revenue stream hasn't been established..the price will always be volatile, regardless of 3rd party interaction.
