As per the announcement, there had been hive movement from the affected area though with hives being found in Dubbo, fortunately clear of the mites.
Hopefully the NSW authority's efforts in this instance are not the "gold standard" and the country does not face a predicament like we did with covid's movement across state boundaries.
At this stage the company has laid out what they perceive as the worst case scenario based on current impacts of hive movements, ie 44% of the orchards impacted by the limitations.
Currently it is just a waiting game until we know more.
