Tataki beef:
Lightly sear sirloin all round.
Slice across the grain.
Arrange on plates.
Dressing:
In a small non-reactive bowl combine the following:
¼ cup minced ginger.
2 tablespoons distilled / rice vinegar.
2 tablespoons light soy sauce.
2 tablespoon olive oil.
1 tablespoon sesame oil.
1 tablespoon mirin or sake.
½ teaspoon pepper.
