    German goulash:

    in a deep pan fry one 1 chopped onion.

    Then add the following:
    2 to 3 cups beef stock.
    ½ cup wine.
    2 pieces orange peel.
    ¼ cup rendered beef fat.
    ¼ cup soy sauce.
    ¼ cup tomato paste.
    1 dozen anchovies.
    2 tablespoons smoked paprika.
    2 tablespoons Worcestershire.
    ¼ dozen cloves garlic.
    1 or 2 smoked chilies.
    ½ teaspoon marjoram.
    ½ teaspoon pepper.

    When cooked thicken slightly with corn flour.

    Then add 500 gm diced rump or small steaks.
