As I have said a while ago Rain (or lack of it)imo has been a factor for both grass fed beef and feedlotters (high grain prices).
With recent good rains especially in Vic I think there is more optimisim among the producers.
They will be able to hold their herds for the time being (Possibly building up their herds a little after the drought) which will create less availability and higher prices.
This is just my opinion.
