Whilst we suspect subdued performance due to major holder having control; it is interesting to note that AACo should be making money in its feedlots.....whilst grain is dear, store cattle are not overly dear ( heavy feeders getting 3.10 to 3.20 per kg...others much cheaper) ; the finished product is featuring forward prices of 6.70 to 7.20 dressed.....3.50 to say up to 3.90 live......so there is even a margin on buy and sell and not just a weight gain for them to profit from which is exceptional of recent years. 350 to 450 kg animal being bought in that is $130 to $280 a Head bonus.....plus the gained weight is another $ 80 to 100 bucks more than usual at least.

So surely even this mob might make some money
