a) Buy the 12,347 VULO options at 64c = $7,958
b) Buy the 11,000 VULO options at 64.5c = $7,095
Total cost = $15,053 (plus broker's 'C')
Exercise the 23,437 options @ 28.5c - Cost $6,680
So total cost for the 23,437 fully paid VUL shares = $21,733
Current SP for VUL = $1.00 so value of 23,437 shares = $23,437
Hence total profit = $2,704.....
So if you believe in VUL then buy the options at a massive discount and retain funds for a further 4 months!
