On December 9th, ECOPRO’s Chairman Dong-cheLee of South Korea and his delegations visited the production of powerbattery-grade nickel chemicals (nickel sulfate crystals) from the lateritenickel ore invested and constructed by GEM in Indonesia Morowali IndustrialPark (hereinafter IMIP), Morowali, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia (50,000 tons ofnickel per year) project (project company name: PT. QMB New Energy Materialshereinafter referred to as "QMB").

Chairman Dong-che Lee and the delegationsvisited the public and auxiliary facilities of the IMIP, including the port andpower plant, accompanied by IMIP Chairman Wu Huadi, GEM Chairman Professor XuKaihua and General Manager of QMB Tang Honghui. The delegation also visited QMBsite and testing center.

At the exchange meeting, QMB GeneralManager Tang Honghui introduced the basic situation of the park and theconstruction progress of the project. Chairman Dong-che Lee thanked GEM for thearrangement of his visit in Indonesia, expressed his is shocked of theachievements that IMIP has made so far in Indonesia, and highly respected thepioneering spirit of Chinese entrepreneurs led by Tsingshan Group! Chairman Lee said that IMIP has invested inthe construction of a complete infrastructure with good supporting conditions.Based on this, the GEM Indonesia Nickel Resource Project is fully able tooperate successfully, efficiently and at low cost, and is confident in the GEMIndonesia Nickel Resource Project with expectation, I would like to thank GEMfor its far-sightedness and hard work. On this trip to Indonesia, ECOPRO hasstrengthened its determination and confidence in strategic cooperation withGEM. And he will unswervingly cooperate with GEM and strategic cooperation anddeepen cooperation. ECOPRO is willing to work together with GEM.
