They could and can't do that unless they can immediately mine straight away. I also know the money wasn't up on the spot price back then.

That's why i said they should have kept in touch with the Mines department to know what else they could do to accomplish the requirement needed to keep the ball rolling for the MS1051 well before the date was up.
Asking the government for anything else they could do isn't a bad thing. Maybe they could have erected large holding sheds on the grounds or what ever to show they mean business. I don't know what would be asked for by the government but i don't think just the not moving dirt would be the be all and end all.

But if it is or was then RH should have said the government told us to shove it up our arse. I would at least been pissed off at the government big time and appreciated his honesty for the call out.

What gets me is there isn't any information saying they tried, or are actually going to attempt some such effort toward the 1051.
It is moving rapidly toward the next state election as you know so i believe anything and everything should be thrown at ALP WA to show how appeasing the many sh of uranium in the state would help them.
And all i see is them waiting for the next government, and even though i am all for the libs getting in, I don't want to rely only on that for the next 12 months.
