Stocks are holding onto the majority of their gains as the market's resilience in the face of more rate hikes offers a signal that a short-term bottom has been put in place. The Nasdaq, which was on pace for its longest losing streak since 1984, is leading the way among the majors and poised for its first gain in nine days. The Dow and Russell 2000 are also gaining respectable ground and have climbed back into the green following yesterday's drubbing.
