A Beer Master speaking on the ABC this morning made the startling observation that Fosters beer is brewed in every State in Australia...... except Tasmania......why you ask, as I did, just before he told the stunned audience ....."Because the water in Tasmania (presumably Hobart) is TOO PURE" !!!
They (the makers of Fosters) apparently have tried to "treat" the water (presumably to make it as dirty as everywhere else !) but were unsuccessful.
I knew there was a reason why I dislike Fosters ......maybe "PigsAr~se" liked the taste of cigarette ash in his beer so much that he decreed it should be made just so and that is the missing ingredient in Tassie water.
This information is provided in the interests of good taste and with a concern for men's health. You can believe everything you hear on the ABC, coz they would never tell porkies.
