Smart money buys when dumb money sells…
By definition, market beating returns or multi-baggers are inherently speculative in nature. Higher risks, potentially higher rewards. However in recent times the risks for this three phase development plan have significantly re-rated lower while the share price has moved far less materially to price this reality in, in my opinion. That mismatch creates opportunity. Our American friends on the NYSE bid up the shares overnight, which now appear to be stabilising at around these levels until our major catalyst arrived in April - the IP30 flow rate data. We all know the weight these announcements will have for institutional investors, particularly if positive. Hence this week’s broader market gitters will prove to either be a golden opportunity to stock up at a discount ahead of the major news - or a chance to get out before the true blood letting begins. The management style of Tamboran is what installs the greatest confidence in me that these fine gentlemen who are custodians of our precious capital are far from the cowboys we all know can give pre-revenue energy & resources companies a bad reputation among burned retail investors. Therefore I’m extremely confident what we’re witnessing is perhaps the last true buying opportunity to grab a few fistful of cheap TBN shares prior to me having to go toe to toe with the big players rushing to get their slice of the action. I live in the NT, I see the government positioning and posturing daily, I know in some way, shape or form that the shale gas in the Beetaloo will flow to Australian & International customers. In just over 3 weeks we’ll know for sure in April, so if others allow me to acquire more TBN on the cheap, then I can only thank them for their services to my retirement fund. I pity those who can’t hold their nerve for a few weeks after all this time to get here…however as the adage goes, in times of broader market selloffs, often it’s the dumb money selling to the smart money for no good reason in regards to the specific company in question. I suspect by April many will be thanking those making unfortunate sales of this well-managed & highly prospective future gas producer. GLTAH.
