Hitlers Holocaust found fertile ground for a few reasons but among them was a deeply embedded suspicion and hatred of Jews that has been around for millennia fed by the church and cultivated by those who feared difference.

It’s clear you do Not understand what antisemitic means. The potatoes post perpetuated a myth about Jews that has no basis in fact antisemitism is a specialised version of racism (though Jews are a religious group).

You should know what racism is since you write screeds on it when you post about aboriginal rights or Black Lives Matter. You just fail dismally to apply the same principles to Jews let’s try some examples (which I personally repudiate but they are typical stereotypes)

you can’t trust aborigines because they go walk about
black men are violent (or better still have big male parts)
Germans are arrogant
French are great lovers (or Italians people if you prefer)
women can’t do maths
women are emotional
men are rational


making comments about Jews deserving what they get is antisemitic. Making comments that maybe Hitler was right is anti semitic. Commenting about Jewish wealth as if that is wrong or misused or In fact a generalised state of Jews is antisemitic. Describing them as gods chosen people in a context designed to denigrate Jews in general is anti semitic.

All of these types of posts have been made at one time or another on hotcopper. They have nothing whatsoever to do with Israel, Netanyahu or the Middle East. They are antisemitic because they rely on characterisations of Jews in general
