Did you not see the recent 3B? 285m shares were issued. Can't buy things with shares, can you? Need to convert them to cash in order to do so. How do you do that? Well you sell them. Simples.

You only actually make money when you have cold, hard, cash in your hand. Whether the recipients of these shares rendered services or provided goods, in order for them to actually make money, they need to get cash. Is that enough justification?
