This lot (ie. Howard's lot) have dragged the name "Liberal" through every swamp they could. They're not "Liberal" at all; they're some form of organism gone badly wrong. They've made the true followers feel alienated and disgusted, ashamed of calling themselves by that name. For them, I feel deeply sorry.
Politics, since Howard has become a brutal, heartless game, the point of which is "the end justifies the means."
Lie, deceive, castrate, incarcerate, tear up all civil liberties, let the poor lose all self esteem and let the rich become richer. Grab, steal and kick heads. Dictate laws instead of debate them. We are the chosen to rule for evermore the way we want to rule. Trivialise and dumb down. Aspire for mediocrity. Be arrogant and -most important of all- walk around the oval in your clown's clothes!
I don't hate people but I certainly do hate certain ideas and practices that hate people.
