I didn't realise the Coalition had a castration policy but please tell me where they have stated this, so long as Kevin doesn't have a me too policy you may have finally convinced me atomou to vote union, err sorry ALP.

fatsoh, I agree with a lot of what you're saying, there are plenty of small 'l' Liberals who would like to see the end of Howard and more compassion without seeing them out of government. In my perfect world Howard would lose hie seat but the Coalition would win and the moderates would again gain ascendancy with Costello leading (yes I consider him a moderate) and perhaps a Petro Georgiou or the like in Foreign Affairs.

But since I have a stronger grip on reality than atomou and his belief in Liberal castration policy (and Graham Mac's electrified cages and kidnappings) I know it won't happen.

A lot of the moderates will get wiped out in this election and I hope in the fallout the Liberals move a little to the left and not the right.
