can't agree more -

spoke with a very cultured young with it moneyed handsome and highly qualified as a medical specialist, a few weeks back, at our local hospital - an Iranian doctor. Impeccable English. Beautifully dressed. Elegant manners - a lovely young man and an intellectual.His name denotes he's obviously Muslim, at least by birth.

He told us what a fabulous place Iran was - how beautiful - how much he loved it - most wonderful place in the world to live once upon a time - he said. BUT, (he said) radical Islamists have taken over and ruined and wrecked what was once a such a lovely place. He said if you live there and are comparatively wealthy, (i.e. have money to pay the endless required bribes now required) it's still the greatest place to live in his opinion.

But if you're at the mercy of these radical thugs and desperadoes, via being poor, (he said) then forget it. He couldn't wait to get away from them and their ruination and wreckage of what was once a great country, and came here to further his training, and intends staying. Our good fortune.

And there is the question - why does Australia have to foot the Billion dollar bills for these pseudo "refugees" from other countries, who are too weak to resist and eject these thugs and their brutal ideologies - keep allowing themselves to remain under the boot of these lawless destroyers? These radicals put the fear of God into everyone with their murderous regimes, and do their damage in their own countries, making them unliveable for anyone who loves freedom, creating nothing but fear, contribute NOTHING of value to THEIR homelands, then decide the grass is greener here - so jump on boats and try to flock here - and expect all of US (compliant do-gooder dopes) to keep them? Not contributing anything to OUR society either - and with zero regard for our laws or customs? Harboring the most vicious religious and political hatreds (which I contend are one and the same anyway) - and prejudices - and expecting us to change and fit in with them and THEIR beliefs?

I'm sick of it - and I believe many of us are also - but too scared of the usual de rigeur derisory labellings from career bleeding hearters to say so.
