I understand that PRE's only oil/gas interest left is the Behemoth tenement in USA where it is free carried by the actual explorers. If this assumption is correct then PRE does not have to focus on its gas as they have no control on matters, and are just waiting for results of drillings. I guess they could be more informative about each new development there, but I am not sure if that would actually achieve anthying in real terms. PRE does however control its gold exploration program (subject to the avilability of finance) so it is focussed in this area now.
In the event that PRE does not get any joy from the oil/gas drilling and fails to prove up an economic gold deposit within 1 year, PRE could be facing its last days. This is a very high risk company.
I still hold PRE, but I am not under any illusions about the risk. Its only that PRE is in a good gold location and has already had some success that keeps me on its share register.
