sumayo,
Don't worry I get confussed as well. Mcf is a Thousand cubic feet of natural gas. From what I have found out wells in then Sacramento Basin can flow between 1 to 5 MMcfe/d (which is a Million cubic feet of natural gas a day)usually from the one formation. With the Behemoth well drilling to 13,500=/- there could be a series of formations (horizons), Including the Hamilton Sand, Bunker Sand, Winters Sands, Kione sand and the large Forbes Formation.
With wellsite gas prices around $7? per mcf, therefore 5 mmcf/day is $35,000 a day or $12.76m a year, from 1 formation!
By the way I'm a Petroleum Geolgist!
