The early stuff on Behemoth referred to plenty of shallow exploration but no deep drilling until the W2-8 well drilled. Dusters at shallow levels have no correlation to results of deeper reservoirs.

It's always a problem getting info out of US operators, even more so when they are private co's. Although it's been a long testing programme so far, from mid-April '08, it can take much longer to get reliable results. Specially true of deep wells, high pressures, multiple reservoirs. Also, NEG might be prioritising some other project; they don't have to justify themselves to PRE. People & equipment resources are v. tight in US O&G sector atm.

Summary, be prepared for more waiting, or exit, but an announcement could come out of nowhere. Don't suppose this is much comfort to some of us!
