If I was ORG I would be seeking a takeover of QGC in a script...

If I was ORG I would be seeking a takeover of QGC in a script swap of say 3.5:1 . I would then delist QGC but hold it as a subsidary and place ALL my coal seam gas tenements/holdings/farmins into it.
This way I have a premier coal seam gas company headed by Mr Cottee and staff and still have an alliance/partership with BG and its expertise etc. I may add that I believe QGC may come up short/need more gas later on and would look
to further takeovers itself but if ORG stepped in , it may solve all problems.
can you see any benefits from this or do you see pitfalls??
