Union Resources Limited (Union) is an Australia-based company. The Company is engaged in the exploration and development of the Sandpiper/Meob Phosphate Project in Namibia. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009, the Company focused on the development of its Namibian offshore phosphate resource. This project is located in Namibia, approximately 60 kilometers offshore from the coast in Southern Africa. Its other project includes Mehdiabad Zinc-Lead-Silver project in Iran. The exploration activities at Mehdiabad includes more than 52,000 meters of diamond drilling, which has outlined zinc, lead and silver resource totaling 394 million tons. The Company operates within three segments: Australia, Namibia and Iran. The mineral exploration and evaluation are conducted in Namibia and Iran. Its subsidiaries include Union Zinc Pty Ltd and Union Management Pty Ltd. On May 29, 2008, the Company acquired Sea Phosphates (Namibia) Pty Limited.
