This stock confuses the hell out of me.
The buyback suggests the pipeline is very iffy IMO.
Why launch a buyback when you will need all the cash you can get your hands on (and more) to develop the pending pipeline????????
I have been told by very liable sources that Santos WILL launch a takeover via the share overhang of PNG government and Woodsides holdings.
But why would they if pipeline is no go ???????.
The buyback has got me beat.
Would only trade ATM and price is getting very attractive to pick up 20,000 for quick $600 profit, that's only 2c folks , and the bloody thing is supported by the buyback.
