Belarussuian Potash Co. (BPC) increases its potash price to Brasil to $550. This is very high price for a low cost producer like BPC.

BPC, a joint venture between Belarussian state firm Belaruskali and Russia's Uralkali which has merged with Silvinit just recently. This cartel has a very big power now. They can drive the prices even higher than $550 in this year as Cantopex which is the Canadian cartel, does not seem to make any price cuts to any customers atm.

Now let's seee how Indians will do with PotashCorp on their price negotiations! They have already walked away but they have no chance in these tight potash market conditions. They will have to pay at least $550. If they delay their decison they may have to pay more!

Belarussian Potash Company (BPC), a major global fertilizer supplier, said on Monday it would raise the spot price for its fertilizers marketed in Brazil to $550 per tonne in July from the $520 per tonne.

BPC, a joint venture between Belarussian state firm Belaruskali and Russia's Uralkali (URKAq.L), said the move reflected higher global demand for potassium-based fertilizers and limited stocks.
