Thought this may interest potash people and which I found today on www.mining.com.
Belarus is selling its most prized asset the potash producer Belaruskali, because it needs the money it seems.Bel is responsible for 1/3 of the world's potash fertiliser production and could be worth as much as $20 billion. The buyer could be Russia's top producer Uralkali owned by a consortium of Hong Kong and Chinese interests (sorry, joking - LOL - owned by billionaire Suleiman Kerimov).
Makes one wonder why the Kaz potash FMJ wants to buy haven't been taken up by Suleiman et al.
