I think you will find confidence will creep back into MEO for a while now. Whilst the deal is obviously far from wrapped up, a lot of investor have been selling out recently under the belief that the "quiet" was an indication it was likely to fall over. This announcement shows at least there have been no bad developments... even if no real positive news. I expect the price to appreciate somewhat now. I expect a surge to 40+ later today or tomorrow.
