Fraccing is NOT outlawed as some dissenters claim, merely that better safety procedures are being implemented and neither does it cause earthquakes, as has been claimed by some campaigners for its abolition.
It is being claimed that the chemicals used in fraccing do not contaminate the water supplies as the frac drill is much deeper than the water shelf.
