Unfortunately the Anti Lynas coalition and the Fuziah political group are fighting this base on their arguments of weak and poor standards enforced by the Malaysian AELB and the mismanagement of BN gov in permitting construction (and eventual operation) of the LAMP.
IMO the anti lynas coalition was formed with the goal to attack and undermine the current Najib BN government. Fuziah and the anti coalition have always called publicly for greater scrutiny.
IMO 1. They are saying to the Kuantan people that the people of Kuantan should NOT trust the Najib gov to manage the project with the potential risk factors associated.
2. They are saying to the Kuantan people that they should NOT trust the Malaysian AELB to monitor the LAMP under Najib and BN watch.
3. They are saying, however, if you vote PR in the next general election, PR will ensure that AELB will be competent in their role to monitor Lynas and the LAMP in operation within all international safety standards.
IMO, there is no doubt regards granting of the POL. It is simply a question of not IF but WHEN!
IMO, no matter who wins the next general election, Lynas and the LAMP will continue to operate in the manor that was designed. IMO, the whole Lynas saga unfortunately is to Fuziah and the anti lynas Co a political football.
