Some people smoke tobacco? Do you reckon tobacco should be banned? Can you see where I am going with What about Harvey Norman's scheme to pay later? They make a mozza from that. And guess what,

No. AfterPay is upfront. It enables the customer to buy in a convenient manner for the price charged by the retailer. If some customers are somewhat financially inept, not the fault of business, the employers, the effect of too much alcohol, too many drugs or whatever else you may wish to blame.

Given the cosy relationship between Gerry Harvey and Ahmed Fahour (Latitude, recently failed float, second time) it is unlikely anything will change with Harvey Norman unless Gerry decides to change horses.
