Everyone has bias, it is undisclosed conflicts that are the issue.
As for management communicating with their shareholders and answering their questions I wish more companies did this. It is not the 1990s anymore where the only way of communicating with shareholders is via the phone or snail mail - for better or worse, social media is the communication medium many investors want to use to talk to management.
