on supply /demand for labour,
economy is tightening, ppl can/ t afford excess payments and repair volumes follow downwards.
less demand for skills, i believe the labour balance is very close ( always be the odd pocket).
3 things that a=have happened in last three months
number of shops advertising is dropping
number of taff looking for work has increased
number of shops for sale is increasing.
all these are common indicators of a decliniing industry and economy
good shops will thrive, average will fail
I can't see other MSO's fail but can see a few merging
