What a joke of a market the ASX continues to be.
Last trade for the day was 3.02pm @ .375 cents.
Then in the auction @ 4.10pm, we get share price manipulation (it's not a trade, just a rorting of the system) for a $262.86 transaction.
We all know retail can't transact at that level, so it's clearly broker manipulation.
Which broker and for how long they've being doing this is for ASIC / ASX to investigate and prosecute.
I expect if you went through the NXS share price history, it probably happens on 25% of the days it trades.
If anyone can pull the trading data, I'll happily do the analysis and send it to ASIC, ASX and the AFR for their review.
The old regime were either oblivious to this, or allowed it by turning a blind eye.
If I was the Chair (Stockburger) and MD (IV Hall), I would be putting a stop to it ASAP, as it doesn't bode well for their reputations.
I'd also fire the broker, as if they need to do this, they aren't doing their actual job to begin with.
Get a proper broker who can put you in front of some decent investors.
Let's see if ASIC follow this one up.
