it's so amusing to see my own rationale being hijacked.

I have posted that the reason I persist with challenging negative posts is for the benefit of mum & dad investors....now madamswer has adopted this as his supposed mission!

The amount of effort going into trying to establish credibility in that regard is astonishing...

why would you bother? Precisely because the mum & dad investors are the weak hands, and they don't come in here often. So what you said a week ago, or a month or longer doesn't matter each day is a fresh page.

And accumulation can go on quite easily, in fact it can go on in parallel with shorting activity.

It's all about working very hard for that credibility factor.

Dire warnings have been replaced by very moderate sounding, reasonable sounding, value investing theory...except why would you be in here if you really are a value investor? Why focus on the ONE stock, MSB?
