They have a large low grade SEDEX (Sediment hosted copper) deposit with cobalt and zinc. I used to work on it in the 1990's. Its a stranded asset in a remote location. The company is probably low on cash hence they will try and sell some other tenements for cash. I suspect they will drill a few infill holes (directors holes) near existing drill holes to get some speccy headlines and excitement and then do a cap raise maybe using Bell Potter. We all know copper stocks are hot atm and copper has good fundamentals going forward. So we may be able to attract some new punters. This project is very remote so will need a JV partner with big pockets to develop. There was talk of building a slurry pipeline to Mt Isa and processing the copper there. This would be along way uphill. The Century Zn mine was developed using a slurry pipeline so the technology works its just the cost. I think there are some other undrilled targets nearby which may also get drilled. I have some shares out of nostalgia and may just trade any exploration excitement.
