Bell Potters Load of Rubbish

Guys Bell Potter published some absolute goobdegook on a2, trying to assert that trends for all NZ exports were somehow a proxy for A2's demand. It is absolute nonsense. I dug into NZ stats for specific information about infant formula and milk powder exports. Now it needs to be recognised that every year September quarter exports are always the years lowest and are always substantially lower that the June figures. So comparing exports quarter on quarter is absolute total rubbish. Set out below is the value of dairy exports to China by quarter over a couple of years.

Now whats interesting about this table is yes the volume declined significantly June to September but September 21's numbers are some 17.1% higher that September 20 (a correct comparison)
If we look at pure milk powder exports to China (including IF) year on year from September the results are shown below


Now contrary to all the bs that Bell Potter peddle exports of milk powder from NZ to China September 20/20 to September 2021 grew from 3.72 billion for the year ending September 2020 to 4.5billion for the year ending 2021 a 21% increase year on year. Does this look like a stagnant or slowly growing result to you? Bell Potter nonsense!
