Commsec show the same information, but it is likely out of date. There is no sales/revenue history for BAL anywhere on the Commsec site, so I guess ETrade are no different.
On 5th June BAL released a full year profit guidance of between $7.6m and $8.3m. Let's assume an average of $8ml for the exercise.
On 19th June AMP announced a change in substantial holding notice.
This showed that they had 6,207,081 shares, which represented 6.53% voting power.
Based on the above, unless there are shares that are not transparent, then BAL must have 95,054,839 shares in total.
Therefore BAL will earn 8.4 cents per share this year (profit divided by number of shares)
Divide the 8.4 cents into their current share price of $4.80, then the P/E is 57.
God I hope my numbers and formula are accurate. If not, I apologise in advance.
Nonetheless, GLTA as I think this will realise its potential in the near future.
