- Indonesian supply is overwhelming and dominating the market
- Battery makers are moving away from nickel
- High-pressure acid leach technology has matured as a technology and provides a large amount of nickel sulfate
In this environment, the likelihood of a deal is extremely low. If they couldn't get a deal when nickel was red hot, how could they get one now?
Friedland has clearly lost interest in this company, hard to see any positives right now.
I will probably take a substantial loss on this one. Not sure if I can make it to June after recent events.
