Diazepam is not an anti depressive, it is a sedative, it is valium, very highly addictive if not administered by professionals.
Perhaps Ben perceiving the worst of all at his intended meeting with West Coast before his arrest felt that he needed settling down. Very wrong for any doctor to prescribe valium to be administered by the patient on their own.
Ben needs personal guts and personal self awareness not drugs nor sedatives nor the endorphin thrill of guts on the footy field.
